Fringe Benefits

Fringe is one of my favorite trends of this season and I am so excited to have found a fabulous pair from Eloquii to pair with my burgundy Old Navy top and Kendra Scott chain necklace for my recent blog post on Something Gold, Something Blue, a curvy style blog by Emily Bastedo. The leaves may be starting to change in certain parts of the country, but in Houston, we are still experiencing hot temps. I have been so excited to start wearing fall clothing, but wearing sweaters and boots is not in the cards right now. So, I found a few items to help me to feel like I’m dressing for the fall without sweating my bootay off.

Fringe is one of my favorite trends this season and I immediately fell in love with these jeans from Eloquii. I know they are going to be added to most weekend outfits this fall because they are so versatile and can be paired with almost everything! Paired with this burgundy top from Old Navy, I am ready for my pumpkin spice lattes  (I had my first one yesterday when in was in the 60s in Atlanta)! What I love about this top is that it is a great fall color, but is so lightweight. Also, it can be layered with a jacket or cardigan as it starts to get cooler (hopefully soon)! 😀

Speaking of the weekend (we made it to another , I am so excited to take a little break from work. We are currently in “busy season” and any bit of time I can take to relax or focus on this blog is a nice reprieve. I am beyond excited to be going to see the Olympic gymnasts perform tonight at the Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions, including one of my all time favorite gymnast, Shawn Johnson. I was just starting to have withdrawals from the amazing performances at the Olympic games and I can’t wait to see them perform in person. I will be sure to sharing lots of the fun on Instagram (@EmilySGSB)! I will probably be wearing this outfit tonight but will exchange my gorgeous heels for some comfortable flats to be able to walk around downtown. 🙂 I hope you have a fantastic weekend, y’all!
