Traveling to Hong Kong and India has to be one of the highlights of my life – the trip was amazing. The hardest part about the trip was that I had to pack only one suitcase for two weeks. It literally took me over four hours to pack.
I spent so much time choosing appropriate outfits for the office while trying to figure out how to mix and match my weekend clothes without feeling like I didn’t pack enough. At the end of the day, I wore almost everything I packed with the exception of one t-shirt, swimsuit coverup and swimsuit and I rarely felt like I had NOTHING to wear. I did pick up a couple of items while I was over there, so I think this helped me to keep the outfits varied.
For today’s Travel Tuesday post, I wanted to do this round up of mirror selfies/iPhone pics to share a few of the outfits I wore throughout my trip to give you an idea of how/what I packed for both work and play.
Day 2 Dinner: Dress I purchased from Ritu Kumar
Day 5 – Dinner: Charming Charlie Curve Collection Top | ASOS Curve Black Drawstring Pants (the absolute best thing I brought on this trip) | Gold Headband (bought from FabIndia in Mumbai) | Dr. Scholl’s Sneakers
Read my travel guide for visiting Lantau Island here.
Day 4: Drinks at a Speakeasy + Dinner: COS Teal Dress (picked up in HK) | Dolce & Gabana Light Pink Purse | Black and White Striped Earrings | Dr. Scholl’s Sandals (seriously, I wore these almost everyday)
I hope you enjoyed this outfit round up! I’m curious – do you want to see a full packing guide for my trip? Let me know in the comments below.
