Summer Lovin’ Happened So Fast

Hey y’all! I am so excited for today’s post!! I am teaming up with Laura from Walking in Memphis in High Heels on this Day to Night post! So in this post, Laura and I styled the same item – our super fun and colorful maxi dress from the Lilly Pulitzer for Target collection! Laura styled it for day-time and I styled it for night time.The Lilly Pulitzer for Target pieces I was able to get my hands on are quickly becoming staples in my summer weekend wardrobe! This maxi dress is really the perfect item to wear from day to night! I love maxi dresses because they are so comfortable while still making me feel dressed up. And the colors of this print just make me so happy!! I recently wore this outfit to dinner with friends to celebrate some exiting news at our “day jobs.”

To dress this dress up for the night, I added my new favorite heels from Just Fab. I purchased these for my recent trip to NYC and love how comfortable they are! The heel is the perfect height for me and the simplicity of these heels allow me to style them with pretty much everything in my closet! To add a bit more glam for the night time, I wore my trusted Kendra Elle earrings in fuchsia to bring out the pink within the dress and my monogram necklace (in my opinion, you can never go wrong with a monogrammed item….) 😀 My Claire V. clutch and J. Crew pave link bracelet were the perfect finishing touches!

Doesn’t Laura look fantastic with her daughter Leighton? I love how she added the jean jacket and sunglasses to her maxi dress to make it feel a bit more casual!
