Sephora + Pantone Lipstick

Wearing the Sephora + Pantone Lipstick
I have been loving the bold lip trend for a while and took advantage of the deep plums and burgundys of the winter. When it started to feel like Spring, a few week ago, I began my search for a great bold lip color. After searching Sephora.com, I came across this Radiant Rush lipstick by Sephora + Pantone. It perfectly portrays Pantone’s color of the year, Radiant Orchard, and it is the perfect color for my skin tone!  I can not tell you how many compliments I have gotten on this lipstick and how this automatically puts me in a great mood – I feel like it is always sunny and in the low 70s!  In addition to the great color, the lipstick is hydrating and has a decent wear time. As with any bold lipstick, I found that I have to reapply every few hours to make sure the color is vibrant, but, overall, I am loving this product!

On the picture above, I am wearing Sephora’s Universal Lip Liner, the Sephora + Pantone Lipstick and a little bit of Bobbi Brown Crystal Lipgloss to make the lipstick really “POP”! I am so excited about this lipstick and am sure that I will be wearing it for weeks to come.

What is your favorite go-to product right now?

  1. I want to love the bold lip trend, but I just haven’t been able to do it yet. I’ve bought a couple different products and I wear them once and just can’t bring myself to do it again.

    • Hi Sara!

Thank you for reading Something Gold, Something Blue.

I felt exactly the same way six months ago. What changed my mind was using a bold glossy stain, such as YSL or Loreal. Ever since then, I have been gradually moving into bolder lipsticks with a bit of gloss (I still am not sold on the bold, matte lipstick look, but I think I will get there eventually!).

If the bold lip isn’t for you, there are plenty of other ways to express your personality – both with makeup and clothing!
      Happy Friday,
      Emily
