Pairing Plaid and Fur + Giveaway

Hey y’all. So I can barely contain my excitement. As y’all are reading this, I am on a flight to the Big Apple! This is my 3rd trip this year (I know, I’m a little obsessed), but this will be my first time in the City during the holidays! Do you have any recommendations on what I should do?

So, the weather this weekend is supposed to be absolutely gorgeous (especially for this time of year!). It is supposed to be in the low 60s during the day and in the mid 50s at night! It is December, right? I had originally ear marked this outfit to make an appearance this weekend, but I think it will be a bit too warm for the faux fur vest.

I love this pairing of the plaid and the faux fur. Let’s talk about this shirt first, I am completely obsessed with plaid button downs this season – I think have 4 in the rotation. I think I love them because they add a bit of fall to my outfit without adding the heat/bulk. Considering that it is still in the 80s in Houston, I have worn these things out… 😀 Pairing it with this faux fur vest was actually inspired by the designer, Jess from Bows & Sequins. I have been following her blog for a few years and when I saw this combo back in October, I pulled the trigger! I am obsessed with her collection and love this easy combo. To give more glam to this outfit, I added some of my favorite go-to: my jeans from Old Navy, these chic Kendra Scott Earrings and my red Tory Burch bag.
