When I first heard about the Jason Wu x Eloquii collection, I got extremely excited. Almost as excited as when they released the Draper James x Eloquii collection (this souther girl with preppy style, just couldn’t resist all the gingham and y’all sayings….). And y’all, this Jason Wu collection does not disappoint – especially considering these items are perfect for any holiday party.

While I will only keep a few pieces from the collection (since they are more formal than I wear on a day to day basis), I wanted to highlight my top 3 favorite pieces that I cannot wait to have arrive in the mail soon!

1.Silver Sequin Gown

Wow! Just wow! This is for sure a show-stopping dress and perfect for a holiday party or a formal New Year’s Eve celebration. Between the silhouette and fabric, I am not sure which piece I am loving more. Either way – I can’t wait to get this piece in my hands to see how the sequin fabric looks and feels on.

2. Black Tulle Fit & Flare

Every woman needs at least one holiday/cocktail party LBD in their closet and I happen to think this may be the one that I need to have for the last two months of 2018 and into 2019. With the wrapped waist, I am sure this tulle polka dot dress will be extremely flattering on most body types. Additionally, y’all know I can’t resist a good tulle skirt that flares out (evidence: here). If you needed any more reason to add this beauty to your cart, just remember a LBD is season-less and can be worn for many events, months, seasons, years to come… 😀

3. Red One-Shoulder Dress

This dress spoke to me for two reasons – first, adore this red color. If you’ve been over on my Instagram lately, you may have noticed that I have an affinity for red. I think it’s a power color and one that is flattering for pretty much any skin tone. Additionally, I loved that this dress was a little more on the covered up side. As a women who likes to dress more modestly, I’m thinking this dress will definitely help to keep the girls covered up in a way that is trendy while being comfortable for me to wear out in public (again, this is totally a personal preference – I’m just more comfortable in clothing that is not as revealing – it goes back to what I was taught when I was growing up in the Catholic Church….this could be a whole other post, but yeah – I tend to find clothes with higher necklines and lower hemlines more my speed which is probably why I’m drawn to this beauty).

Overall, I am so excited to see another designer team up with a plus size brand to bring fashion to all sizes! While there are a few things about the collection, I am wary about for my personal style (cough…cough…the low necklines), all in all, the collection is absolutely stunning and is going to look breathtaking on so many women this holiday season. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed that we are all able to get our hands on these pieces and that more designers and brands will team up to bring their designs to the masses.
