I put a lot of pressure on myself to find that “perfect” outfit for the occasion. While I enjoy the hunt, sometimes it truly stresses me out. For some reasons, New Year’s Eve is one of those events that I can feel crushed with stress. I think it has something to do with ringing in a new chapter while simultaneously closing out the old one and feeling like it’s going to set the tone for the next year. I know it’s unrealistic to think an outfit is going to make or break a year, but I don’t want to jinx it, do I? And this year there is added pressure because not only are we ringing in the new year, we are ringing in a new decade!
Since this year is a big one, I decided to share 3 of my favorite outfits for a more dressed up New Year’s Eve party….
Look #1 – Silver Sequin Suit
Silver Sequin Pants | Silver Sequin Blazer | Black Silky Camisole | Black Leather Strappy Heels | White Acrylic Hoop Earrings (new version I love) | Chain Link Bracelet – under $20! | Candice’s Silver Star Dress – sold out (new favorite!)
Look #2 – Rose Gold Mock Turtleneck Dress
Look #3 – Gold Halter Top + Velvet Pants
Gold Tie Halter Top – c/o | Velvet Paperbag Waist Pants – c/o | Black Faux Leather Clutch – old (similar) | Black Strappy Heels – old (similar) | Colorful Jewel Statement Earrings (similar, heart version) | Candice’s Gold Mini Dress | Anabeth’s Multi-Color Sequin Dress – sold out (another favorite!)
