Hey Y’all!! I’m back! I know have been a bit silent for the past couple of weeks since getting back from Belize. Do you ever have one of those weeks or months – where your to-do list keeps building and as much as you try and check things off – it just does not seem to do get smaller? That’s been the past week, but I am so excited to get back to posting and chatting with you lovelies!! I really have missed it!!
Since I have been spending a lot of time catching up with work, I have been trying to keep my weekends pretty casual. I wore this outfit to grab lunch with friends and run some errands. I normally opt for flats or sandals when I am running around like this in the summertime, but these Lilly Pulitzer for Target wedges are just as comfortable, but add a bit of sparkle….I paired the wedges with my new top from Anthropologie. I was immediately drawn to this top because of the fun, unique polka-dot pattern and for the off-the shoulder style. When I tried this on at the store, I loved how comfortable it was and knew that I would be wearing this all the time – from nights on the town to lunch and errands!! (I was right – I have worn it multiple times, including to Happy Hour two weeks ago… :D)
My Chico’s boyfriend jeans were a little warm for the Houston heat, but they are my favorite pair right now and they gave a nice juxtaposition to the girly top and wedges. I kept my jewelry simple by adding my Kendra Scott earrings and my silver Marc by Marc Jacobs watch. And to hold all of my nick knacks, I added my colorful Rebecca Minkoff purse which I picked up in New York City a few years back.
