What says fall more than a suede skirt? haha….when I first got my hands on this skirt before I left for NYC, I immediately fell in love and knew it would be the perfect transition piece from summer to fall.
I ended up wearing this outfit on the third day of my NYC adventures, which included meetings with a PR firm, checking out the Addition Elle pop-up shop, spending some time at the Universal Standard showroom and being a bit of a tourist by popping over to Radio City Music Hall (where the Mother premiere happened to be going on when we shot these photos).
This skirt and statement sleeve top made the perfect outfit because it looked super fall, but without all of the layers and warmth. I think that day it was like 90+ degrees and I felt as cool as a cucumber in this outfit. To tie the whole fall look together, I added a few more trends into my outfit, I added a pair of comfortable leopard flats, a red purse and statement earrings.
A month and a half later, I am still pinching myself that I had the opportunity to celebrate my love of fashion with so many amazing individuals who share a similar passion in one of my favorite cities in the world. There is always a buzz in NYC, but energy surrounding fashion week was electric. Thank you to all of you who continue to support me and this little blog of mine which afforded me this bucket list experience.
I’m heading off to a bachelorette party today and am excited to celebrate the upcoming wedding of my friend of over 20 years…It’s hard to believe she will be a Mrs. in 2 months. I hope y’all have a fantastic weekend! And Go Astros!!
