Obsessed with Lilly Pulitzer

#LillyforTargetDress: Lilly Pulitzer (old) – (what I’m loving now: here, here, here) | Shoes: L.K. Bennett – old (similar and cheaper option) | Earrings: Kendra Scott (similar) | Necklace: gift (similar) | Clutch: Claire V via Pop Sugar Must Have    (fyi – this is a referral link. if you sign up for a must have box, I will receive a small credit. but trust me, I love this box and have been subscribing for almost two years)

Lilly Pulitzer oldFirst of all, what do you think of the new look of Something Gold, Something Blue?  I am super excited about this new blog design! It has been something I have been considering for awhile, especially becuase I wanted to be self-hosted. It still has a few bumps and bruises to be worked out (like the header – I am still trying to figure out what to do with it), but I am excited and hope you all like it…

What about that #LillyforTarget sale? I was lucky enough to snatch a few items early in the online release or else I would have been disappointed. I hope that you were able to grab an item or two off of your Lilly Wishlist from the sale. If not, I have seen some groups on Facebook that are working to trade or sell the items at face value (plus the cost of shipping and/or PayPal fees) and are booting people from the group who are trying to price gouge. So you may be able to pick up a few items that way if you weren’t able to get your hands on your favorite items! 😀

In honor of the collaboration and the beautiful spring weather Houston is experiencing today, I thought I would share one of my favorite Lilly looks with you today.

I love Lilly Pulitzer prints – if you have been reading SGSB for some time, you probably know that I love prints in general (look 1, look 2, I could go on…), but Lilly prints are so iconic and just beautiful. I think I am also drawn to them because of the bright colors (again, I am obsessed…) and because of how comfortable the clothes are, especially this dress! AND with the bright colors and prints, I don’t need too many accessories – just the basics – which is crucial when the 100 degree summer heat rolls in.

What were you able to snag at the Lilly Pulitzer for Target sale?

P.S. are you able to spot my flash tattoo? I am kind of obsessed with these too… 😀

  1. This dress is gorgeous on you! I love those shoes too. I was lucky enough to grab a few things from the collab. People trying to price gauge are just sad!
