The summer is quickly approaching which means warm temperatures will be here sooner than know it. I am really fortunate to live near two parks with some great walking and running trails. Ok, so being honest I am not a runner so I don’t partake in the running part – I’m more comfortable on the bike! I got a New FitBit a couple of months ago and I really try to get 10,000 steps in a few times a week. I have found that I am less stressed and sleep better on the days that I do this. Sometimes it is not feasible with my work and travel schedule, but I try to get it on the weekends. I recently discovered HydroChic active wear and I know that it would be perfect for my summer walks!
Growing up I remember jumping in the pool after running around the backyard. It is so refreshing to cool off after being in the scorching summer heat. The other day I tested out my HydroChic gear by walking around Memorial Park and then taking a dip in my apartment complex’s pool.
The top and bottoms were very similar to traditional active wear that I own, but were much lighter. At times I didn’t even notice I had anything on! The outfit also came with a sports bra that is prefect for use while I the pool, but it is not supportive enough for me to wear to do strenuous exercise. HydroChic active wear is unique because it has SPF 50 built into the clothing (aka. a great way to protect my skin while still enjoying the outdoors). Another great feature is that HydroChic was also intended as swimwear and can withstand those pesky pool chemicals.
Overall, I adore this line of active wear/swimwear and appreciate that these same pieces can be used in so many different ways! I also love the fact that HydroChic I committed to making every woman feel fabulous in some situations that often cause anxiety (aka. bikini season) – I love my body and amazed by all the things it is capable of, but sometimes the thought of swimsuit shopping is daunting! By having alternative options (that are also fabulous) is amazing!!
We made it through another week y’all! I hope you have some fabulous plans (even if it involves binging on Netflix) and enjoy this “free” time! I have a few things planned – I am excited to see some of my blogger babes this weekend at brunch and to tap it back at the HydroChic! I will most likely also be finishing binging on Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (I still can’t believe I have not finished it yet)!!
