Houston Dynamo Game

Inspired by two of my favorite bloggers, Jen at Skirt the Rules and Krista at Covering the Bases and their game day outfits, I wanted to share my outfit I wore to the Houston Dynamo soccer game this past Saturday.
I had only been to one Dynamo game prior to the Texas rivalry against FC Dallas on Saturday and I was super excited to go to cheer on my hometown team. I don’t own any Dynamo gear, but I knew I needed to wear the Dynamo’s official colors of orange, black, white and Space City Blue. In addition, the weather in Houston on Saturday was gloomy it was slightly overcast and in the mid-60s with a significant chance of rain during the game (thank goodness the rain held off until the next morning – BBVA Stadium is open air and we would have gotten soaked). Unfortunately, the Dynamo did not win, but it was still a great time with great friends! I even ran into a long-time friend who I haven’t seen in over a year! What fun adventures did you have this weekend?

Thank you Kelly! It really is such a small (blogging) world!

I am really excited that you took the time to visit my blog! I have been reading Kelly In the City for a couple of months now and absolutely love it (see right sidebar – Favorite Blogs). I am also obsessed with everything preppy and monogrammed (with a southern twist, of course)!

Thank you again for checking out Something Gold, Something Blue and I hope you have a great night with Jen!
