Milly for DesignationTop: Milly for Designation | Skirt: Milly for Designation | Cardigan: J. Crew | Necklace: J. Crew (similar) | Shoes: Sam Edelman (similar) | Purse: Rebecca Minkoff via Nordstrom Rack (in black)

Have y’all seen the new Capri collection from Milly for Designation at Kohl’s? It came out at the end of April and I was quick to get my hands on this matching skirt and top combo! The print in person is so vibrant and it reminds me of my time on the gorgeous Italian island….ok, I was only there for 3 hours, but the water was a vibrant blue and I saw Ralph Lauren having lunch. I can’t wait to go back sometime and experience all that Capri has to offer – until then, I am taking advantage of all of the clothes that feature Capri….Not only is this set extremely comfortable and adorable together, I love that I can style each piece separately for a completely different outfit.

I wore this outfit on Saturday to a jewelry trunk show for Burd Life. The pieces were adorable and affordable….y’all know how much I love statement pieces, especially necklaces, but sometimes they are just so expensive. But Burd Life makes my wallet and jewelry box happy! In the next few posts, I will feature on my favorite items from the collection that I just could not part with.

In addition to wearing this outfit out and about on the town, I can totally add a cardigan and some flats to wear it to casual Friday at work! I am always looking for great outfits that go from work to play easily. And I think this outfit will work perfect both in the office and at Happy Hour!!
