After a long day of work, it is so nice to come home, change into a comfy pair of pajamas and indulge in a glass of wine. Last week just seemed to be one of those weeks where I felt like I needed a glass of wine every night…anyone else?
I was recently introduced to Cambria’s Benchbreak Pinot Noir through their Notes of Cambria video series on YouTube. It was so much fun to watch two of my passions, music and wine, combined together in their videos and I am so grateful to have this opportunity to partner with Cambria Wines to introduce it to all of you.
I couldn’t help but pick up a bottle of the Pinot Noir during my last grocery store run to taste the wine and compare it to the song after seeing the Notes of Cambria video series. After tasting the wine while listening to the “Pinot Noir Waltz,” I couldn’t believe how Kalei Yamanoha was able to capture and express the flavor of the wine so perfectly.
When I first tasted the full-bodied, fruit forward Pinot Noir, I could taste the earthiness of the grape, which I heard in the string section of the song. I also felt that the song’s tempo captured the relaxed/earthiness of the wine. The videos were also amazing because they showed me more about the Santa Maria Valley winery estate Cambria owns to grow their grapes and bottle the wine, on site. Since I haven’t been able to do a trip to Wine Country, recently, it was nice to be able to see their vineyards and imagine myself sipping this wine in the picturesque environment.

If you are looking for a great wine to help you unwind from the day, you can find Cambria’s Benchbreak Pinot Noir at so many stores (I think there were over 10 ten stores that carried it near me). You can find a store near you via the Cambria’s website. I would highly recommend this wine to all of my friends because it’s very drinkable while still being affordable. I know I will be purchasing it again to imbibe myself (after one of those days) and it would make the perfect addition to a dinner party or host(ess) gift.
How do you unwind from a long day at work? I would love to hear your suggestions in the comments below.
