Man, there is nothing like a short week at work. I am always super excited to have the extra day off, but inevitably those end up being the busiest at work because I still have a ton of work to do. So, I apologize that I am a little late on getting this post up – I came back to the hotel from work and was completely wiped. I fell asleep in front of my computer while putting this post together – oops. 🙂
Well being a #girlboss can be exhausting, am I right, ladies? Running around trying to accomplish all of those goals we set out to conquer is so important and looking/feeling the part is such a big part of it! When I first tried on this top, I immediately got a boost of confidence and knew that it would be the perfect business casual work outfit!
Work, like most things in life, have it’s ups and downs. Sometimes it’s just a bad day or sometimes it can last for a few weeks. It can be so difficult to find the motivation to keep reaching for your dreams during those rough patches. And I have found that I need to find little ways to motivate myself, like with a fabulous outfit that makes me feel great or plans after work to chat with a friend that I haven’t spoken to in a while. I begin to look forward to these things and I start to feel excited (ok, at least more excited) about heading to work that day.
What tips do you have to motivate yourself to hustle? Let me know in the comments below!
I hope that you continue to work hard to acheive all of your dreams and feel beautiful while doing it! I know, I will be trying to do the same on my end! Have a fantastic weekend! I’ll be heading to Kansas to celebrate a college friend’s wedding. I don’t have a lot of things planned, so please let me know if you have any recommendations for places to eat/things to see in Lawrence, KS!
