Brunch-ing

This weekend was fantastic! The weather was absolutely gorgeous and I got to spend some time with some great people!

On Friday, we celebrated my Mom’s birthday by going on a Pedal Party through Midtown – so much fun! I highly recommend it if you are looking for a great party atmosphere. If you haven’t heard of it before, it’s pretty much a trolley with pedals and each person pedals to move the trolley while having a few beverages. It sounds silly, but I can not tell you how much fun it really is. We had a great playlist, which I believe is a must!!
On Saturday, I met up with a few Houston bloggers at Tiny Boxwoods to grab a bite to eat and catch up about life and the blogging world. It was great to see a lot of these beautiful ladies after meeting them a month ago at the Thrive! We have a ton of fun together and it isn’t weird if we all Instagram what we are eating at brunch (see mine here), use a selfie stick to take a group picture or take a bunch of outfit photos. I wore this dress to brunch and loved how lightweight is was and it was super comfortable (perfect for the the weekend)! I glam-ed it up by adding a super fun statement necklace I received from my Rent the Runway unlimited subscription and adding pops of color with my cardigan and purse. My philosophy on the weekend is to be as comfortable as possible and that’s why I live in dresses! 😀

On a side note, I am super bummed that Kate Spade Saturday closed last week. I recently fell in love with this brand and am so bummed that it no longer exists. I guess that just means I need to keep shopping for other brands to love…haha.
I hope y’all had as great of a weekend as I did. Here’s to a great week and starting April (where has the time gone?)!!
